Illinois High School Rodeo Association

When you arrive at the rodeo, find an empty stall for your horse(s) and an electric spot if you need one.

When you check-in Saturday morning you will need your stall number(s) and electric hookup number.

All electric and stall money will be collected at check in.  NO stalls or electric may be saved for someone else.

At every rodeo the electric/camping spots reserved with orange cones are for the State secretaries and arena director.

Attention District 2 - $100.00 sponsor money is due on or before the Hopedale Rodeo on April 26th.

The Illinois High School Rodeo Association aims to maintain order and standards as set forth by the National High School Rodeo Association and the IHSRA, among its members and at their functions.  We promote high school rodeo on a state-wide basis by bringing state-wide recognition to this program.  We promote horsemanship, sportsmanship, and character.  We plan to promote the highest type of conduct at the various IHSRA rodeos and functions by setting standards which will bring about this goal. We plan to keep the Western Heritage alive in America and certainly in the State of Illinois.  We promote closer relationships amongst the people interested in this activity and the organization that they represent.  We promote the humane treatment of animals at all times. And, most importantly, we encourage students to continue in school and to improve their education to the best of their ability.
